Chris' Alaskan Excursion

Here are a few shots from my trip to Alaska last week. It was one of the most beautiful places I've seen. The weather was perfect for a Winter Wonderland. These were taken around Lake Hood in Anchorage. Lake Hood is the largest floatplane base in the world. As you can see, not much was flying while I visited. If you want to see pics of the lake during the busy season click here.

Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is one of our family's favorite holidays. We really do have many, many reasons to give thanks every year. This is our first Thanksgiving here in Tennessee. Though we miss our adopted California family very much, we are happy to be spending today under overcast skies, sharp winds and swirling leaves that look like the Rockwellian Autumn that I have always imagined. To all of our friends and family spread out across the nation and the world (from Alabama to California to Tennessee to China), we love you all, and miss those that aren't in front of our eyes.

Proof that spreading cheer is harder than it looks...

James didn't really warm up to ole Saint Nick, although everyone else seems to be having a swell time. From left to right: Uncle Scott, Lily (Scott's daughter), James, Santa and Caroline.

A Few of the Happy Couple

We are usually not into doing photos this posed without a professional photographer. Since Jason Naumann (our go-to shutterbug) is away shooting movies and shaking up Hollywood I thought we would throw together this impromptu session. I know a few of you were asking for some pics of the two of us, so I hope this is sufficient. Forgive me for the un-pro nature of these, but I am no Jason. We miss you bro!

Week 35

I don't care how big that belly is, that is one good-looking woman. Here is a beautiful shot of Teri thinking, or looking at a bug.
There is no one who holds up a lamp-post with more grace.

Here she is working the camera...
...and here!

James' Finger Lickin' Dinner

On Wednesday of this week Teri and I look up from the couch to catch this series of events. He's a big fan of fried chicken, like his father before him.
